Every seed touching the soil is a hope for a big tree, a marvelous environment for birds, many succulent fruits and countless nice moments under its shadows.

Some seeds are just a quick meal for a bird; some others are vanished by the wind; some are dried and used in fancy dishes. Even though, the tree never stops letting them reach the ground.

I chose to trust in people. And I know it’ll make me a fool many times.

One can move mountains when feeling inspired to reach somewhere. Yet, a millionaire with no purpose won’t spend a penny on anything.

I face nice words and intentions every day, but only feel able to cheer up when facing their rare counterparts, nice actions and behaviors. I listen to wise words from unexpected people, but they only make sense when they apply their own wise in daily life. Everybody seems to know the best way when everything’s fine, but impressive are the very few ones who are able to act right above bad feelings when things go wrong.

Human being is not simple. It’s beautiful. Notwithstanding sometimes it takes a sharp gaze to see this beauty, right there, in the middle of a frightened soul, hidden on mistakes, judgments, expectations and confusions.

A soul can end up with so little space when we don’t free our beings of bad energies. When the mess is so big inside, a real effort for the soul to get more space can be empowering for all life. After the storm is gone, may seem it was nothing, but that’s because the soul is stronger and unaware of what could it be didn’t it struggled to the light.

Cheer up! If you can.

There’s a lot to worry about, especially when we are not sure of our aims.

Worries come with doubts. Doubts are part of a process of acknowledging our life, the processes it involves and the history that our life will have written in a piece of the world’s book. When this reflective process gets to its summit, there’ll be no worries left. Only challenges.

Few people bought my book, but I happily noticed they are sharing it! They are lending it to other people, and talking about it… today I heard some nice comments “backbite”J

In the end of the day, a girl sent her friends an e-mail with a piece of my book (and copied me). Really nice of her letting me imagine it’s spreading its own way.

But I think the most interesting part is that I’m getting to know people’s talents! Someway they feel free to talk about their skills, their dreams, their pasts and what they want to do. It’s awesome knowing these parts of people you used to see only as coworkers.

They use to follow a pattern: first compliment me for my courage to expose my thoughts and then start to share what they have developed hidden from people’s judgments.

Of course there’s nothing of perfect in this book, and I hope it doesn’t get perfect, in order to encourage people to show their own.

Even though, a nice thing I can do through this publisher is changing it.

I could just rewrite what I was feeling like and send them to change. The first edition was written over one year ago. Now I feel much better I could change some thoughts that were part of what I wanted to say and are not anymore.

I don’t know how it’ll develop from here, but I’m glad I had this courage.

Come on dear inspiration. You are the allowed one to take my sleep away and make me deny many tasks for the simple pleasure of writing.

Don’t worry too much.

 You’ll probably deal better with situations when you don’t dramatize them too much.

Live your life trying to find your equilibrium in everything you do.

And try to be happy whatever it comes forth.

Try to let anguish away from your life.

You’ll clean up your eyes to see what’s alternative for a distressful life.

Of course there will be distressful moments, but as soon as you have your clear image of what kind of life you want for yourself, you can learn to make these moments shorter and shorter.

Don't put all your hope in one single thing. If you do right for a purpose today, it may help you another ways in future, even if the present purpose no longer exists.

Don’t bargain your self-development for what you can get from universe right now.

Good things spread over many experiences and help you to develop a character that’ll be important in crucial moments.

Maybe no one understands your intentions over some attitude. Still, if you’re sure of your intention, keep it. Either someone will understand it someday, or you’ll be able to feel good about yourself and your convictions.

Has it a huge result in present or a modest result in future, it'll be a mark of your history, and will help you to make a gradually richer life.

Besides, who can tell how big a result is? We shall consider more than the immediate result of our choices. When we choose a way, there are many other ways we leave behind. And if it’s an enlightened path – by a candle or a floodlight –you don’t have any reason to regret it.

Even if there’s no supernatural meaning for general life or your own life, how supernatural can be allowing yourself to life a richer life with your cherished?

While we try to apply the known logic to the unknown, it’ll remain unknown.

Billions of people lived in this world we are living now… and many of them faced the questions: why are we here? Where did we come from? What’s existence? And so it goes…

They learnt how to let future thinkers aware of their discoveries: books, records, teaching over children, theories, religions, schools, doctrines, etc.

The question is: why, then, with all this past knowledge, plus our own, we still can’t be sure of what’s called Metaphysics? With so many geniuses, philosophers and masters, why are we still in ignorance about it?

Simple: we try to apply a limited logic to what’s above it.

Comparisons and generalizations are a tempting and dangerous way to try to think simple. But it seldom works.

Mathematics doesn’t explain feelings. Metaphors are a way to make one think according to the author’s intention, but it doesn’t mean it has any truth value.

Too many are just in love with simple logics, as if it could be applied to everything. Of course it’s easier than trying to see all the aspects of each phenomenon, respecting it in its own logic and environment. Unfortunately -or fortunately, for those who like challenges – the easier is not always the right.

Simple examples:

1.     Opposites attract and likes repel. Right?

For magnets; people are more complicated than it.

2.     If there’s a right, there’s a left, right?

For symmetries. I don’t have a right heart nor a left liver.

3.     If there’s smoke, there’s fire…

Ever heard of dry ice?

There’s more than thinking simple to reach a deeper knowledge. There’s going further, beside, behind, forward, comparing, questioning, really checking its validity, and much, much more.

Think simple. And go deeper.

You can’t know how it would be till you see how it is.

When we decide to change our lives there’s an increasing risk of disappointment, whereas there’s an increasing –conscious or unconscious –expectation about the results of these choices. As our hearts attempt to be sure that we are not fool believers of an apparent truth, details get bigger and feelings get deeper importance.

Depending on our emotional equilibrium and our own conviction about the course of our lives, it can lead us to see what is unreal or clean our minds from bad thoughts; affirm what’s a lie or ask for the truth; highlight and rearrange few words among millions to fool ourselves, or read the full contest, to understand it with its own curves and obstacles. 

When we face a time of confusion about our wills, that’s the moment to review our paths, analyze who we were before, who we became so far, how many paths are available to follow and which one of them would let us to what we truly seek.

It’s very probable that we just need to calm our anxiety before making any decision, in order to go back to that first stage and clearly see our walk toward the present moment.

There is always the possibility of being wrong about our convictions. But there are two ways of facing it:

1.      fearing it since the beginning and avoiding any kind of attempt for a true experience;

2.     living it true-heartedly and learning with anything comes forth.

If a warrior doesn’t give his believes the proper attention before the battle, his doubts will throw him to the ground before his enemies do.

Well… Independent of believing in the influence of planetary positions and horoscope, it seems a good exercise. Let’s see... how would be a talk between the child, teenage and adult Luciana (together - they don't respect others time to speak!):

Take care of your small world, contribute to develop the bigger world, keep a sense of equilibrium in yourself and your beloved ones.

Have fun sometimes, study sometimes, keep busy to avoid an empty life, but keep some free time too. Do different kinds of things, never the same one like it was meant to be forever. Sometimes you'll feel something will last forever an it won't. Some other times you'll believe nothing is forever and the universe will make you think different.

Enjoy simple activities, games or moments that allows you to think for hours. Your imagination has its own life and needs space to delevop, otherwise it'll let you sad.

Act in order to be able to be proud of yourself. Doesn’t mean you’ll be vain or arrogant, just content with yourself in the bigger picture.

Be kind without being a fool. Read and write. Find a way to get rid of bad feelings, but take the bad moments to learn something. If you say yes to everything or stay closed to what people offer you, you’ll always lose something.

Do what’s needed to keep your freedom. Be able to choose. -Getting the conditions to choose was a high aim at my childhood. That meant freedom. That meant I could experiment things, judge if they were good or bad and make my choice -You'll do many things you used to say you wouldn't, and learn to be more and more comprehensive to others attitudes.

Some things can look too hard before you do them and simply normal when you do. Don't let people scare you about them.

There’s a lot to learn… there’s a lot more that is imperceptible to intellect but essential for the life of your spirit. It must be cared, otherwise will be suppressed by apparently good but in fact futile values.

God is there, you just have to feel it right. Many people fool others in name of God, but this is not God, these are human mistakes.

Don't feel bad about this habit to play with numbers, styles, probabilities, mixtures, combinations and arbitrariness. That's one of your simple pleasures, and there'll be a time you'll get a nice job because you learnt to deal with abstract elements, and for some reason your employer likes this kind of people. :)

You, as every human being, don't fit in a label. Some people spend their whole lives trying to fit on it. That's a way to get less complex, with the risk of getting blind to their plenitude.

While you're growing up (till you die) many people will try to convince you that some things are worse than they really are, especially about other's behaviours. Just ask yourself: is it causing any harm? Is it bringing any hapiness? And what my attitude before it is leadind to?

You will find in writting a great ally. Will find out that’s a great way to express yourself at any time, without the risk of annoying a listener, plus the possibility to think and rethink things. You'll see your choices multiply when you know how to express better, and when you know how to look for knowledge. That’s the magic of reading and writing.

You'll see that you can't be good in everything - no one does, but sometimes we have this illusion. The destiny will teach you that's always plenty to learn. When you're the best in your group in using your language, you'll feel a need to be much better in another one... when you get your aim according to your reality, you'll start to crawl in a totally different one... and this is not predictable. You'll see your life can totally change because of an aparently innocent attitude, one person, one feeling that invades you...

Have fun! Promote good vibes and deny the bad ones - simple thoughts that sometimes you'll forget!

As I grew up this thoughts were sometimes cloudy, sometimes I doubted myself, but in the end, someway, they were reaffirmed. Sometimes I think my inner child knows more than my adult being… Nowadays I’m able to do what she wanted me to, but for some silly reason I still listen to other arguments that don’t fit to my real wishes.

I was more fearful before. Now I know that when we face our fear we allow ourselves to live rich experiences, independent of the result of them. Still, I have to fight against this fear tendency almost every day.

I like so many things that always get to a point that’s hard to choose what to do! It can be easier to act in order to get away from some bad situation than choosing a good one!

Always had this need to stay alone once in a while - strange kid for most. Even liking fellowship, there’s always this urge for "privacy with myself"…

Confusions are part of the process of growing up and letting new feelings come in. Learning to deal with them is the most interesting part. Trying to change realities I didn’t like was a long part – even chronologically short. I keep doing it, but fortunately I’ve changed the most annoying ones. J

I think my past Luciana would be fine with who I am now. Proud of some things I’ve learnt, she’d think I could learn much more, especially if had shorter periods of doubts and was more corageous. Even though, I feel like going in an ascendant path to calm happiness and equilibrium.

I thank to "myselves" and many people that were intensively part of my life till now. And look forward to the next steps. J
